How to defeat DRINA (Part I)

**WARNING: Contains game spoilers! It is recommended that you do not read on if your hero is under Level 40.

Hey guys! Thanks for staying tuned to Spirit Animals Turf!

Evelin Wateraura (aquagriffin62) here, with my tiger spirit animal, Sphinx (the Egyptian woman-head, lion-body monster? Well...). I have reached level 40 recently, so let me share with you about my latest battle with Drina, the ultimate boss that all of you are waiting to face once you get to the highest level. She has hidden many tricks and traps up her sleeves.

Drina
Drina is formidable with her many special abilities.
She has a purple HP bar with a crown beside it.
Iskos
Drina's spirit animal is a gigantic spider, Iskos. Not too bad for a boss, isn't it?

Here's my review about the battle:
The Drina boss is a very challenging enemy to battle with, far more difficult than normal heroic quests. The SA admins have really put a lot of effort into this. You will face a lot of tricks and traps. The battle will take place in Eura, right in the Courtyard of the Greenhaven castle.
Once you click the "Start Quest" button, the final confrontation begins... Just try your best, never give up and you can defeat Drina!

Walkthrough

In a dark and stormy night, you and your spirit animal are sleeping in your cosy room in the Greenhaven Castle. The world was covered in darkness and the wind howled, the lost souls' warning of an imminent doom.
And the shadow approaches. She comes in under the silence of the night.
A storm is brewing.

The Dream of Ninani

The Swan of Ninani
In the black folds of your waking dream, an image stirred, giving off a clear, powerful aura. White! The Swan of Ninani!
She beckoned to you to awake. And in the silence of your dream she spoke, her voice rising and falling like the tides of the sea, gentle and yet strong. She tells you that the one who hunts you is here and confides in you in beating her, calling you Ninani's Champion
Ninani fades. You wake up.

Drina Confrontation

Drina melts towards you from the shadow. It is she who has woken you up. She stared at you with her cold snake eyes. You are paralysed. Her eyes bore deep into you as they burned with a terrible flame, her will to destroy. Her words penetrated your mind. You know the worst is to come.

She claims that Zerif had told her that she failed her uncle and Shane. Killing you is her only choice to regain her honour. She had no other choice.

I await you in the Courtyard.

This is the last battle that will define your fate.
Rise and fight!

The Battle against Drina

You are teleported to the courtyard. Droplets of rain are falling from the sky. They stung your eyes, and taste bitter on your tongue. You blink, looking around you. A purple tinge immerse your surroundings. A dark cloud hovers over Greenhaven castle, and you are in the center of the storm.
Drina runs away from you into the darkness. You followed on her heels, shooting her with arrows. "Take that!" she said, retaliating with poisoned arrows. You tried to dodge some of them, but a few arrows struck your body. You bent over with pain. "Drina is too strong," you muttered. "I shall not give up!"

"YAAAA!" You charged forward, only to have Drina back flipping out of the way. Rage burned inside you, coursing through your veins. You charged again. "Catch me if you can!" she yelled, darting aside into one of the corridors.

TURF TIP: When you first face Drina, shoot her arrows. Do not engage in close combat with her as she will always retreat from you. Otherwise, you could lure her into a trap. A few corridors are connected to the Greenhaven courtyard. Some of them are interconnected, but others lead to a dead end. Chase her into the dead end and beat her up. You will be unable to attack her many times, as eventually she will escape from the trap.
The key here is patience. Defeating Drina is not easy. With every blow, her HP will drop. Do remember to use your special Defense skill at critical moments!

Your spirit animal beside you, you sprinted into one of the corridors after Drina, evading the upcoming arrows. "You've had your chance," she snarled. Drina is just in front of you, a few metres away. You are getting closer and closer.

Suddenly, you rammed head-on onto a barrier.
It is made of purple spider silk. You struggle, but you are unable to reach Drina. She let out a menacingly laugh. Turning around, you try to find any means of getaway, but the other end of the corridor is blocked by Drina's giant spider companion, Iskos, with a similar purple barrier in front of it. The ground begins to flash with red spots. Your pulse rises and perspiration dripped from your forehead.

You are trapped.
